Pandemic Fatigue, Ukraine War, Faith and Hope

Going into the third year in this very fluid situation, I am already starting to feel stressed and worried about what is to come, and it is only March.

The ongoing war in Ukraine is starting to discourage me to get up every morning because I feel that this is another hurdle that we need to keep an eye on. The hike in gas prices drives me crazy, despite the lesser restrictions. It makes the working class feel that we will never recover from anything.

I don't know what big dreams you had to park just so you could get by, how many people left you during your state of depression, and how you put a fake smile just so those around you do not worry, but I guess we are on survival mode. And we need to start believing in the higher power because there's life is not at all wonderful if you do not have faith and hope. Faith in Jesus. Hope that things will turn around for the good.

I do not know what exactly you are going through but know that you are not alone. Do not forget to take care of yourself too and not just those around you. We do not know how long this pandemic will last but hold on, dear friend. Hang in there. There is so much to be thankful for despite these challenges.

He sees you. He knows your name. He cares for you. Jesus cares for you.
